Hi there
I'm in the process of writing an ITT for the migration of our existing website to preferably an open source CMS and hosting solution. We have a members area and validated links to third party websites, as well as back-office integration via i-frames. Can anyone recommend web development companies, who specialise in the not-for-profit sector? Any comments gratefully received!!
Many thanks, Donna

Donna
Can I suggest looking at the ICT Hub Suppliers Directory - http://directory.icthub.org.uk. I have just had a a look and there are currently 147 suppliers who list Web Sites & Intranets as part of their service - http://directory.icthub.org.uk/list.html?act=comcon&index=4
A more detailed search can be carried out to find a supplier who meets your needs. All suppliers listed on the Directory have to give at least two voluntary and community sector references so all have experience of the sector.
Thanks
Ian

Hi Donna It wasn't long ago that I posted a message here to report that nobody has ever contacted us as developers from the ICT hub directory.
We are both back end database specialists and a social business ourselves.
I have a preference for working with DotNetNuke, the main reason being that the ASP.NET framework on which it is based offers a lot of scope for integrating seamlessly with proprietary databases built on MS SQL Server.
There are many add in modules and web skins which could create the style and feature you may desire if not included in the core application. I've been able to get voluntary organisation website up and running within 24 hours with such an approach.
