Volunteer Management Software

I have been looking for some new volunteer management software, preferable an open source version.

We are also looking into replacing our existing HR software.

Can you please let me know what, if any, software you are using to manage volunteers and staff and what you think of it.

Thanks

Tony

Out of interest, what software are you using at the moment?

At the momment we are using a product called Personnel Manager from VizualHR.

It is used both for Staff and volunteers, there are seperate databases for both.

Its not a very user friendly product, for example there are not many report options and a limited export option, just text, dbase and one other.

Are you using anything at the momment.

Tony

I've tried NuView and I like it so far. Interface is very simple but the features are great and highly customizeable. :) PickyGuide also has some great info: http://www.pickyguide.com/computers_and_software/hr_softwares_guide.html

My church uses a program called CERVIS ( http://www.cervistech.com ). We have about 2500 active volunteers and CERVIS is very comprehensive and easy to use.
