Benchmark of IT Strategy 2006

The Benchmark of IT Strategy is an annual investigation of trends and events in IT user organisations in the UK. It has been carried out by NCC for the past 25 years.

The survey investigated:

  • The position in the corporate management structure of those responsible for formulating and implementing IT strategy
  • Their perception of the pace of IT adoption and the forces driving the adoption of IT in their organisation
  • Their perspectives on the role of IT function and the challenges that they experience in formulating and implementing their IT strategy
  • The extent to which specific applications and technologies are currently planned or implemented.
